


In today’s age with information and media overload, it’s easy to fall into the trap of doing things to be pleasant to others; doing things for the likes – and in the process, risk losing ourselves – and the remedy to that is to practice dancing (or doing anything, really) like nobody’s watching.
However, a careful balance between individualism and collectivism has to be had. We are, after all, humans – and no man is an island – we live amongst others and our actions might affect others. Hence, I did a shutter drag with a twist; I married constant lighting (with a slow shutter speed) creates motion trail, together multiple bursts of the strobe which would freeze the subject in various points of motion.
